Who are these guys!? In short narratives the author tells stories about people who seem bizarre and strange but can be found in our normal lives: Whether its the secret cravings oft he small employee, the nagging self-doubt of the attractive career woman or the malicious revenge of somebody that has been cheated on - with psychological sensivity various characters are introduced and contrasted against one another. We recognize partly our own, partly foreign weaknesses and peculiarities, which we can smile about. In the pointed but not embarrassing portrayals they retain their charm. There is also a variety of linguistic styles that deals with these types and their own, sometimes stubborn, views. Narration and fragment, monologue and dialogue, inside and outside alternate and show the fragility and complexity of our world in a humorous way.
