These Bisquitcrumbs are 77 literary miniatures or micro-novels;—so short that they could barely be shorter and yet still say everything. Without being shy, they tell—sometimes humorously, sometimes wittily, sometimes sadly, sometimes romantically, sometimes ironically, sometimes sarcastically, sometimes vulgarly, sometimes murderously (etc.)—of imaginable and unimaginable possibilities and impossibilities in conceivable and inconceivable ways. The illustrated vignettes are pen-and-ink drawings by Horst Hussel.
