Alexander de Cadenet

Alexander de Cadenet (b. 1974) is an artist exploring the sacredness of life and its presentation in art. These include an ongoing series of x-ray 'skull portraits' of significant people he has encountered, life-line paintings (as metaphors for a life journey) and the lifeburger series of 'vanitas' sculptures.

He published his first book of poetry, The Muse in 2009, exploring the nature of inspiration in his personal intimate relationships. A_ erbirth is his second book of poetry intended to offer deeper insights into the mysteries and inspirations of creativity.
